I went to a GSA summit on Tuesday for local private schools, and it was really cool - they had posters all along the windows asking things like “What was the best reaction you got when you or a friend came out?” or “What’s your favorite anthem song?” The question I was answering when this picture was taken was “Why do you choose to be an ally?” and I wrote, “Because I can’t believe we STILL have to fight for acceptance.”

I’m really glad we got to go (we were the only Catholic school represented there.) Even if it did open my eyes to a whole new slew of problems at my school that I wish I had time to solve before I graduate.
